BOXING IN SYDNEY
HENNEBERRY DISQUALIFIED ON FOUL. (Received This Day, 10.10 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. At the Stadium last night Fred Henneberry was disqualified on a foul in the eighth round of a contest with the coloured American Alan Matthews, who had Henneberry in trouble from the outset. Henneberry's right eye was badly gashed during the seventh round and. although he insisted on continuing, he was disqualified in the eighth round, for using his head against Matthews. The weights-were: Henneberry, list 511 b; Matthews, list 311 b.
