Frost, 6.7 degrees. General situation: An anti-cyclone is still centred to the north. The depression over the western Tasman Sea has deepened somewhat, but made little progress eastward. Forecast: Moderate north westerly winds, becoming strong at times. Weather: Mostly fair to cloudy, but with some scattered, light rains developing about and west of the ranges. Temperatures mild.
