AMBASSADOR TO ITALY APPOINTED. •

The British United Press Paris correspondent says it is learned that Cabinet has approved the appointment of M. Poncet as Ambassador at Rome. M. Coulondre, who is at Moscow, is being transferred to Berlin, and M. Massigli, of the Foreign Office, will be the new Ambassador to Turkey.
