FATALLY BURNED
WOMAN’S TRAGIC FATE (By Telegraph—Press Association.)WHANGAREI, October 12. Katherine Barber, a single woman, aged 52, was fatally burned at Mangawai yesterday. Her clothing caught fire, as she was attending a range, She ran outside, screaming, and a strong wind fanned the flames, which burned off all her clothing before help arrived. Miss Barber died in an ambulance on the way to hospital.
