SYDNEY SALES PRICES WELL MAINTAINED By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright. SYDNEY, October 12. There was keen and widespread competition at today’s wool sales, at which the recent firm prices were well maintained for well-grown free wools. Buying on the French account was again a feature, with good support from Yorkshire, Germany, Belgium and Japan. Greasy merino realised to 173 - The offering consisted of 12,024 bales, of which 11,670 were sold and 777 privately.
