EVERY PERSON BENEFITS (Published by Arrangement) Owing to persistent propaganda even amounting to falsehood, which is being disseminated “that nobody under the Social Security superannuation scheme will receive any benefit until they are 65 years of age. and then only £lO per year,” it is necessary to say definitely that the Bill provides 30s per week, free from cuts to each person at 60 years of age, with certain income qualifications, who has been in New Zealand 10 years and to all other people it will provide at 65 years of age £lO per year, starting in 1940. and increasing £2 10s each year until 1968, when everybody irrespective of income will have the right to draw 30s per week.
