The Hon P. Fraser. Minister of Education, returned to Wellington yesterday from Marton. The Hon W. Nash, Minister of Finance, who spoke at Carterton last night, left Wellington today for Hawera and Palmerston North. The Rt Rev L. S. Kempthorne, Bishop in Polynesia, who has been visiting the Dominion, left Auckland yesterday by the Matua for Nukualofa. Miss Elizabeth Blake, who has been visiting Masterton in order to judge the plays in the British Drama League North Island Elimination Festival, returned to Wellington today. Colonel N. S. Falla, chairman and managing director of the Union Steam Ship Company of New Zealand, Limited, who is at present in England, will return by the Empire air route and is expected back in Wellington about the middle of November.
