MAURICEVILLE DAIRY CO.

MEETING OF DIRECTORS. SEPTEMBER PAYOUT Is 2d. ("Times-Age” Special.) The monthly meeting of the directors of the Mauriceville Dairy Co. was held last week. Mr V. K. Lemberg (chairman) presiding over a full attendance of members. The secretary reported a considerable increase in output over the same period of last season. This increase was due to the large number of new suppliers who had linked up with Mauriceville for the present season. If the current season was a normal one for dairying in the Wairarapa a record output for Mauriceville could be expected. The manager reported the factory and plant in first-class order, after the usual complete overhaul during the winter months. The factory equipment at present was capable of coping with a considerable increase with-, out additions having to be made. Local butter sales were steadily increasing and with a daily delivery by the company's lorry, retailers were assured of prompt delivery and fresh supplies. The payout for the month of September was fixed at Is 2d per lb for finest. The total payout for the month will amount to £10,500, which the directors feel will be greatly appreciated by suppliers at this time of the year.
