GREYTOWN
FIRE BRIGADE DANCE. ("Times-Age” Special.) The Greytown Fire Brigade held its annual dance in the Town Hall on Monday night. In spite of the bad weather there was a good attendance. Firemen were present from Masterton, Carterton, Featherston, Martinborough and Silverstream. The hall was tastefully decorated in the Fire Brigade colours, red and blue, while the stage was arranged with pot plants and brass helmets. The music was supplied by Te Tati’s Orchestra. Extras were played by Miss Bensemen and Mr L. Daysh. The supper arrangements were under the supervision of Mesdames W. Wood, G. Allen, T. J. O’Brien, R. Dawson and J. Wood and Misses P. Allen, G. Gray, S. Gray, IVI. Rhodes, E. Daysh and V. Thompsonj Amongst those present were the Mayor, Mr A. W. Horton, Superintendent Clark of Masterton, and ex-Superin-tendent Gates, of Dannevirke. Personal. Mr A. V. Jury, a pilot of Union Airways, is at present on a visit to Grey town.
