“NORDETENS NEXT”
DEMANDS IN NORTHERN IRELAND. NEW BOUNDARY COMMISSION' SOUGHT. By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright. LONDON, October 10. The “Manchester Guardian,” in an editorial today, says: “While the members of the House of Commons were being eloquent of the beauties of selfdetermination and the injustices of Versailles, they probably forgot that the arguments have two sides. “With admirable logic and a lively sense of political mischief Irishmen are asking for self-determination to undo the injustices of another post-war treaty. “Though Mr de Valera, President of Eire, does not desire to embarrass Britain’s ■ foreign relations and wants closer co-operation for defence, pressure from Northern Ireland’s Catholic minority, who already call themselves Nordetens, may help him to take up a matter dear to his heart and demand a new boundary commission.
