MASTERTON RACES
TOMORROW’S BIG ATTRACTION. GOOD SPORT ASSURED. With good fields contesting the various , events and prospects of fine weather, the Masterton Racing Club has good hopes of success at its meeting tomorrow and on Thursday. Indications are that there will be a large attendance of the public to witness the excellent sport to be provided. The course and appointments are in firstclass order and the single pool betting system will be in “operation. Masterton business firms have been asked by the Mayor, Mr T. Jordan, and the Retailers’ Association to close at noon on Thursday to enable staffs to attend the meeting. The first race will start at 12 o’clock on each day.
