DRAGGED BY HORSE
FARM HAND’S DEATH. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) MATAMATA, October 6. A farm hand, James McClunie, aged 18, was killed at Wardville yesterday through being dragged by a horse. Mr McClunie, who was employed by Mr R. S. Tuck, had caught a horse preparatory to commencing work. The animal bolted and Mr McClunie was struck by the horse’s hooves. At the ipquest, which was held before the coroner, Mr A. J. Tong, a verdict of accidental death was returned.
