MANAWATU GORGE
RAILWAY LINE NOT YET OPEN BUSES USED TO TRANSPORT PASSENGERS (By Telegraph—Press Association.) PALMERSTON N., This Day. The Railways Department advises that the Manawatu Gorge line will remain closed through tomorrow, but may be open possibly on Thursday at noon. Three buses are employed in transporting passengers through the gorge from express trains.
