WAIRARAPA CHAMPIONSHIPS. LIST OF WINNERS. The following are the winners of the Wairarapa Men’s and Women’s Hockey Associations’ competition during the season:— MEN. Senior championship and Nicol Cup. —Carterton. Bannin Shield.—Carterton. Annual five-a-side tournament — Huia A (Wellington). Junior championship cup. —College A and Wesley A, tie. Cole-Burgess Cup.—College A. Annual flve-a-side tournament.— Karori A (Wellington). North v South Shield—South. WOMEN. Senior championship shield.—Excelsior. Kia Toa Cup—Excelsior. Six-a-side tournament. —Excelsior A. Junior championship cup —Excelsior. Morris Cup.—Excelsior A. Six-aside tournament. —Excelsior. The representative fixtures resulted as follow: — SENIOR MEN Lost to India, 5/0, at Masterton; beat Bush, 5/0, at Carterton; lost to Wellington, 4/2, at Masterton. JUNIOR MEN. Beat Wellington, 5/1, at Masterton. SENIOR WOMEN. Beat Ruahine, 3/1, at Masterton; lost to Akitio, 3/2, at Pongaroa; drew with Wellington, 5/5, at Masterton. The Wairarapa ladies also attended the N.Z. tournament at Gisborne, and their record was 3wins, 1 loss. JUNIOR WOMEN. Beat Wellington, 3/1, at x.iasterton.
