RIFLE SHOOTING

MASTERTON-OPAKI CLUB. PRACTICE SHOOT. At the second practice shoot on Saturday last there was an attendance of twenty-one members. Conditions favoured good shooting and some excellent scores were recorded. H. K. Smith obtained a possible at 800yds and topped the scores of the day. The totals from the cards returned are as follow:

The official opening will take place on Saturday next, when the ranges will be 300, 500 and 600yds.
