NO-CONFIDENCE IN LABOUR POLICY MEETING AT BALLANCE The assertions of Mr G. A. Hansen, Labour Party candidate for the Pahiatua seat, concerning the virtues of the Labour Government’s guaranteed price policy, its attitude on the farm-labour problem, and its financial policy generally met with a very mixed reception at a meeting at Ballance. At the conclusion of his address a motion of confidence in the Government was rejected, and a vote of noconfidence carried unanimously.
