Miss Verna Hill, of Masterton, is visiting her home at Bush Gully for a few days. A very, painful accident befel Mrs R. F. Mitchell, of Bush Gully, Hinakura, yesterday, when a window fell on •her hand crushing the knuckles and tearing the sinews. She was attended by Dr. Coutts. Presbyterian Church. . The sixty-seventh annual meeting of the Presbyterian Church was held on Thursday night; when the Rev John Mann presided over a good attendance. The various reports and financial statements of the church’s activities were submitted and adopted, and showed all sections to be in a healthy condition. •<- <■ . v*.
