SUPPORT FOR GOVERNMENT. IN NATIONAL EMERGENCY. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) PALMERSTON N„ September 30. The executive of the Imperial ExService Men’s Association of Palmerston North has forwarded the following resolution to the Minister of Defence, the Hon F. Jones: —“This meeting of the executive committee of the Imperial Ex-Service Men’s Association hereby pledges its support to the Government in any action it may deem necessary for protection of the lives and property of people of New Zealand in the present crisis.”
