HARRIER ACTIVITIES
MASTERTON CLUB EVENTS. FINAL OF CAMERON CUP. The ’Masterton Harrier Club will hold a five mile open handicap race on Saturday which will decide the winner of the Cameron Cup. The race will start from the Park Oval at 2.30 p.m. and the runners will be photographed. Trophies will be awarded to the first and second placed men, runner-up in the Cameron Cup and also a consolation prize. The junior members will hold a 21- miles sealed handicap race, which will be the final for a cup presented by an anonymous donor. Al an afternoon tea gathering in the Municipal Haji after ihe races, the cups and trophies won during the year will be presented by Mr C. K. Long. The handicaps for the Cameron Cup race are as follow: —W. Pullar, 30secs. behind; G. Gregory, scr.; R. Shaw, 30 secs.; G. Frederickson, Imin. 30secs.; C. Wright, 2.0; T. O’Dowd, 2.0; I. Shaw. 3.0; J. JHalse. 3.15; C. Ross, 4.15; C. K. Long, 4.30; J. Warham, 4.30; H. Carle. 4.30; C. Pringle, 5.0; R. Gully, 5.15; J. Baikie, 6.0; G. Gaze, 7.0: J. Hunter. Runners eligible for the cup are as follow: —R. Shaw, I. Shaw, J. Haise, C. Ross. C. Pringle, R. Gully, J. Baikie and J. Hunter.
