COSY THEATRE
“BENGAL TIGER.” The programme for guest night tonight is headed by “Bengal Tiger.” No more colourful and picturesque drama has been presented on the screen than that of the new Warner Bros, production, “Bengal Tiger.” The picture is a real circus, presenting all the big acts of the main tent together with side shows and the general atmosphere of the circus grounds where ballyhoo artists bark in superlatives about the glamour hidden behind the tent flaps of their particular shows. Another splendid picture to be shown will- be “Broadway Hostess,” a sparkling comedy drama, filled with rollicking laughter, delightful romance, tinkling music, gigantic spectacles and spiced with thrills. This picture introduces a new singing star in Miss Winifred Shaw. On Friday there will be shown a “Hopalong Cassidy” picture entitled “Partners of the Plains,” a real Western thriller, and another outstanding presentation, “Scandal Street.”
