GREYTOWN

FIRE BRIGADE APPOINTMENTS.

(“Times-Age” Special.) At a special meeting of the Greytown Volunteer Fire Brigade held last night Station-Officer W. Wood was appointed Deputy-Superintendent and Mr W. Gray Station-Officer. Messrs K. Langford and C. Brunton were appointed on three months’ probation. It was reported that the brigade was now at full strength. A vote of sympathy was passed to ex-Captain J. Quinn on the loss of his wife. Fined for Drunkenness. Before Mr J. Kiernan, J.P., at the S.M. Court, Sidney George Hanbly was fined 5s for having been drunk.
