Loan & Mercantile Agency Company Limited report: —At Eketahuna yesterday a fair yarding of dairy stock was submitted to a good attendance including buyers from Manawatu and the West Coast. In common with the recent demand, best sorts sold readily. Cows close to profit, £lO 7s 6d. £lO 2s (id, £lO, to £9; cows in milk, £7; best springing heifers. October cal vers, £8; poorer sorts £G 7s Gd; store cows, £2 to £2 10s; light fat dairy heifers, £5 16s; weaner pigs, best, 26s 6d, 255.
