MASTERTON SEAT

ADDRESS AT RONGOMAL MR J. H. IRVING’S CAMPAIGN. Over 50 settlers in the Rongomai district attended an enthusiastic meeting lost night, when a political address was delivered by Mr. J. H. Irving, National candidate for Masterton. Mr. C. Schnell presided. Mr. Irving stressed the desirability of New Zealand being governed by New Zealanders and pointed out that today there was a general feeling of insecurity quite apart from the European situation, brought about by recent legislation. At the close of the address three questions were answered and a vote of thanks was moved by Mr. A. J. Perry.
