DRUIDS’ LODGE

FORTNIGHTLY MEETING. The fortnightly summoned meeting of the Druids’ Lodge was held in the Foresters’ Hall, Masterton, on Monday evening, the A.D., Bro. A. E. Levick presiding. One member applied for a clearance to Palmerston North, which was granted. A motion of sympathy was passed with Bro. P. Rose in his recent bereavement. A report was received on a recent meeting of the Friendly Societies’ Dispensary Board. Ten members declared on the sick benefit of the lodge. Sick pay and accounts amounting to £134 2s 4d were passed for payment. Owing to a number of the lodge officers being on the sick list, the lodge will be unable to compete in the ritual competition next Monday night.
