BIDWILL BEQUEST

£5OO TO HOSPITAL BOARD. OBSERVATION BY CHAIRMAN. The opinion that such gifts should not lose the identity of the donor and that something should be done to perpetuate his name, was expressed by the chairman, Mr. H. H. Mawley, at today’s meeting of the Wairarapa Hospital Board when it was reported that the £5OO bequest made by the late Mr. W. E. Bidwill had been paid into the board’s account.

It was decided that South Wairarapa members of the board should bring down recommendations regarding the utilisation of the money.
