The weather was fine, with one shower just before the seventh race, for the second day of the Avondale Jockey Club’s meeting. The track was holding. Totalisator investments were £25,870 10s, compared with £27,295 10s last year, a decrease of £1425. For the meeting the total was £62.910, compared with £68,341, a decrease of £5431.
