MASTERTON WINTER SPORTS CLUB. WINNERS OF CHAMPIONSHIPS. The table tennis championships of the Masterton Winter Sports Club were decided on Saturday night. The results of the finals were: — Ladies’ singles, A grade.—Miss R. Winter beat Mrs Hurley, 21/13, 21/14. B grade.—Miss Quinn beat Miss Taylor 21/8, 21/19. Men’s singles, A grade.—J. Nicholls beat M. Winslade 23/21, 14/21, 21/19, 21/15. B grade.—B. Hurley beat M. Wing 21/10, 21/19. Ladies’ doubles—Miss R. Winter and Mrs Winslade beat Mrs Hurley and Miss N. Brown 21/17, 21/17. Men’s doubles. —Winslade and Brader beat Nicholls and Masters 21/17, 21/18. Combined doubles. —Mr and Mrs Winslade beat Nicholls and Miss Winter 22/20, 22/20.
