EUCHRE AND .DANCE (“Times-Age” Special.) The fortnightly euchre tournament and dance was held in the hall at Pihautea on Saturday night, when there was a good attendance. The winners were: ladies, Mrs Himond, 1; Mrs Connell; men: Mr H. Stewart, 1; Mr C. Corlet, 2. Haunui Croquet Club A euchre tournament was held in the Haunui Croquet Club’s pavilion yesterday afternoon, when Mrs Leslie was the winner. Mrs Charles being second. Personal. Mr G. Morris, Pihautea, and Mr W. Nix, Tauherenikau, have returned from Gisborne, where they were competing in the New Zealand Boxing Championships. Mr Morris reached the semifinals.
