WELLINGTON PRICES. (Bv Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. Sheepskins were cheaper and hides slightly irregular at the sale held yesterday by the Wellington brokers. SheepslFins: There was a very poor demand, with a general air of uncertainty prevailing, and values declined by jd to Id on those ruling at the last sale. Hides: This market did not show so great a variation, although prices were erratic. Heavy and medium weights were par to slightly easier, light ox and cow l-8d to id dearer, kip id to id dearer, and calkskins about id lower.
