THE BRITISH VIEW EARL DE LA WARR’S STATEMENT TO DELEGATES (Recd This Day, 9.50 a.m.) GENEVA, September 16. Earl De La Warr is returning to London by air this afternoon, to attend the Cabinet meeting. Addressing delegates, he declared that Britain believes that members of the League should not be obliged to apply economic sanctions in the event of war.
