FOOTBALL
RED STAR v HUTT. The Red Star and Hutt seniors will meet on No. 2 ground at Memorial Park tomorrow afternoon when a fast, open game is expected. The visitors will send up a strong team. The gate proceeds will be handed over to the Primary Schools Football Union. The visitors will be entertained at dinner at the Empire Hotel in the evening. The Red Star team will be: Stewart (2), Johnson, Peterson, Carrig, Henson, Howard (3), Clarke, Dow, McCullough, Delahunty, Ewington, Duff, Barr, Swain, Harding, Cross, Grantham, O’Connor and Green.
MASTERTON v PETONE. The Masterton and Petone seniors will meet at Memorial Park No. 1 ground tomorrow when a good display of Rugby should be witnessed. The visiting team will include the noted All Black players, Pollock and Lambourne. The following is the Masterton team: —Tukere, Workman, Barnett, Hargood, Hatton, Lanauze, Reiri, O’Brien, E. Hargood, Morris, Munro, Crookenden, Welch, Percy, Stewart, McKenzie, McCalmont, Simonson, Keightley. The referee will be Mr W. Grantham. The curtain-raiser will be a game between the Masterton IV and Petone V.
