NEW GRAF ZEPPELIN

SUCCESSFUL TRIAL TRIP. DR ECKENER IN COMMAND. (Recd This Day, 11.30 a.m.) BERLIN, September 14. The new Graf Zeppelin flew over Lake Constance on its trial trip with seventy-four persons aboard. Before the start, Dr Hugo Eckener, who was in command, christened the airship by breaking a bottle of liquid air over the bow. A later message stated that the Graf Zeppelin landed after an eight hours’ flight. A sister ship is being constructed immediately.
