Jordan (New Zealand High Commissioner) has not decided whether to go to London, chiefly because he may be called on, as a member of the League Council, to play an important role if war should occur. The American Embassy is inundated with inquiries from citizens regarding prospects of the speediest transit across the Atlantic. Planes from England to Germany hourly are loaded with freight and mails, but not a single passenger.
