MAKOGAI LEPER APPEAL
(To the Editor.) Sir,—l wish to express my deep appreciation to many of your readers for the magnificent response to the appeal made on behalf of the Makogai Lepers. Already a sum of £l,lOO has been received, and many cases of useful goods. I am closing the appeal on November 15, and by that date I am confident that sufficient funds will be in hand to provide each of the 577 patients with a present at Christmas and Easter, and also on several occasions throughout the coming year.
