KURIPUNI TENNIS CLUB
ANNUAL MEETING OF MEMBERS. ELECTION OF OFFICERS. The annual meeting of the Kuripuni Tennis Club was held in the Y.M.CiA. last evening, there being a good attendance of members. The report and balance sheet showed that the club was in a good sound position. It was decided that the club hold its official opening day on Saturday, October 1.
The following officers were elected: —Patron, Mr J. Robertson, M.P.; president, Mr W. Emerson; vice-presidents, Messrs R. Costello, E. C. Coddington, W. Nicol, G. Beecroft, L. Henderson, G. Deane; secretary-treasurer, Mr H. Tinsley; club captain, Mr H. Vollheim; vice-captain, Mr A. Jones; committee, president, secretary, club captain, vicecaptain, Mr B. McMaster, Mrs Jaspers, Misses J. Rutherford and H. Rigg; ladder stewardess, Miss V. Palamontain; ladder steward, Mr H. Vollheim; delegates to the Wairarapa Lawn Tennis Association, Messrs H. Tinsley and W. Emerson.
