UNBEATEN RECORD

N.Z. SCHOOLBOYS’ SOCCER TEAM FINAL MATCH AT NEWCASTLE WON NEWCASTLE, September 11. The New Zealand schoolboys’ Soccer team completed their tour of Australia, maintaining an unbeaten record by defeating Combined Newcastle High Schools on Saturday afternoon by four goals to nil. Yeoman and Clark scored two goals each in the first half. The visitors were heavier than their opponents and proved superior in all departments of the game throughout. The Dominion players exhibited a high standard and were always superior, particularly in positional play, where the local players were weak and failed to combine for possible scoring movements.

The teams were more evenly matched in the second period, although New Zealand did the greater part of the attacking.
