OBITUARY

MRS E. N. PERRIN. The many friends of Mrs Gladys Mary Elizabeth Perrin, wife of Mr Edgar Nelson Perrin, of the staff of Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., Masterton, will learn with feelings of deep regret of her death which occurred at Wellington. She was born at East Taratahi 43 years ago. The late Mrs Perrin, who had been an invalid for some years, and who was very popular among a large circle of friends, was the daughter of the late Mr and Mrs Tom Rayner, of Masterton. Of a cheerful and sympathetic nature she bore hex own disability with great fortitude and always did her best to make the lives of those around her happy and bright. Besides a husband, she leaves a twelve-year-old daughter and a sister (Mrs C. Cotton, East Taratahi). The funeral will take place tomorrow, leaving the residence, 18 Kirton Street, at 2 p.m. for the Masterton Cemetery. MRS W. A. ADAMS. The death occurred on Saturday of Mrs Helen Adams, wife of Mr William Alexander Adams, of Herbert Street, Masterton, at the age of 57 years. The late Mrs Adams, who had been in failing health for some time, was born at. Oxford, North Canterbury, and was married at Ashburton. She was well known in the Canterbury district. She had resided in Masterton for a number of years. Mrs Adams is survived- by a widower and one daughter. The funeral took place this afternoon.
