AGRICULTURAL CLUBS
EKETAHUNA GROUP. . ANNUAL MEETING. At the annual meeting of the Eketahuna Group of the Tararua Boys’ and Girls’ Agricultural Clubs Association, the following officers were elected for the year 1938: President, Mr F. M. Goggin; committee, Messrs Hancock, Petersen, Webb, Falkner, Payne, Campbell, Hartley, Humphrey and G. Udy; secretary and treasurer, Mr W. J. Herderson. Votes of appreciation were passed to Messrs Goggin and Henderson for their services in the previous year. It was decided that a special class be instituted this year for calves exhibited by secondary school pupils. Entries for this year’s competition with the head teachers of the various schools on September 20.
