YORKSHIRE AND M.C.C. DRAW SUSSEX DEFEATS GLOUCESTER GOOD SCORES RECORDED (Recd This Day, 11.55 a.m.) LONDON, September 6. In the cricket match at Scarborough against Marylebone, Yorkshire in the first innings compiled 221 (Leyland 84, Fames, 4 for 38). Marylebone (first innings 345), in the second innings lost 4 wickets for 132, and declared. Yorkshire in the second innings lost 2 wickets for 222 (Sutcliffe 68, Hutton no out, 106). The match was drawn. Against Sussex, Gloucester (first innings 488) in the second innings lost 5 wickets for 156 declared. Sussex in the second innings lost 3 for 307 (Harry Parks, not out, 119; Holmes, not out, 78). Sussex won by seven wickets.
