FIRE FOLLOWS STORM
HUNDRED KILLED & INJURED IN JAPAN THOUSANDS MADE HOMELESS. TALE OF TYPHOON DAMAGE. (Recd This Day, 12.50 p.m.) TOKIO, September 6. One hundred persons were killed or injured and 7000 rendered homeless as the result of a fire destroying half the town of Himimachi. The fire was due to the typhoon, which passed on to Hokkaido,' after destroying 72 houses, flooding 2164 and damaging 42 bridges..
