STATE THEATRE

“CONDEMNED WOMEN.” A sensational drama entitled “Condemned Women,” will be staged at the State Theatre tonight. It is a story of prison life and included in the cast are Sally Eilers, Louis Hayward, Anne Shirley, Esther Dale, Lee Patrick, Leona Roberts, George Irving, Richard Bond, Netta Packer, Rita Laroy and Florence Lake. The bond between a faithful dog and his master, and a woman’s loyalty to them both, are threaded into the powerful, dramatic story of “Blind Alibi,” Richard Dix’s current starring vehicle in which Whitney Bourne plays the feminine lead, and Eduardo Ciannelli the chief menace. Paul Guilfoyle, Frances Mercer, Richard Lane and Jack Arnold play important supporting roles in “Blind Alibi.” “Ace, the wonder dog,” has an important role.
