MOTOR-CYCLIST INJURED
ACCIDENT ON OPAKI ROAD. A motor-cyclist, Mr Eric Wingate, of Masterton, is in the Masterton Public Hospital suffering from head injuries, abrasions on legs and body, and shock, as the result of an accident at the junction of Opaki Road and Te Ore Ore about 8.40 o’clock this morning. Mr Wingate was proceeding down Opaki Road when he collided with a motor lorry, driven by Mr Oliver Sydney Shute, carrier, of Masterton, who was driving north along the Northern Approach intending to turn into Te Ore Ore Road.
