FIXTURES FOR SATURDAY. Next Saturday the finals will be played for the Redmond and Pearson Cups. Gladstone seniors who defeated Old Boys on Saturday by the narrow margin of six points to five, will therefore play off with the holders, Greytown. The game will be played at Greytown and will be refereed by Mr J. Blake. The finalists in the Pearson Cup for the junior grade are Old Boys and Carterton, who are the holders. The game will be played on the Showgrounds, Carterton, and will be refereed by Mr H. Matson. VISIT OF AUCKLAND TEAM. The Auckland representative team will play Wairarapa at the Memorial Park on Wednesday, September 14. The visitors possess a fast set of players who give the ball an airing. They are considered to be the finest combination Auckland has had for many years. The team is making its North Island tour by motor bus.
