HOLDSWORTH BEATS MOSES. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, September 4. The New Zealand amateur billiards championship tournament was concluded on Saturday night, when L. W. F: Holdsworth, Auckland, won the title from S. Moses, Wellington. The final scores were: Holdsworth, 1500; Moses, 1180. The best breaks were: Holdsworth, 82, 77, 65, 60, 48, 45 and 44; Moses, 110, 53, 50, 37. 37, and 34. The next championships will be in Auckland where Holdsworth previously won the title in 1935.
