BUSINESS ON DOMINION EXCHANGES DETAILS OF SATURDAY’S SALES The following sales were recorded on the Dominion Stock Exchanges on Saturday:— WELLINGTON
GOLD MINING RETURNS The New River dredge returned 450 z from 7500 yards in 98 hours. The Whites Electric return totalled 16oz for 100 hours from 7500 yards. Massey Creek reports that there was no wash-up last week. Golden Dawn reports that for the month ended August 31, 364 tons of ore were treated for a return of £9Ol at £7 2s a gold ounce. The Worksop Extended return totalled 42 ounces for 117 hours from 8000 yards. The Nemona dredge returned 360 z for 90 hours from 11,100 yards. The Argo dredge return was 920 z for 111 hours from 13,000 yards treated. The Mataki Junction return for the week ended September 1 was 83oz for 111 hours from 19,000 yards. One day’s dredging was lost on the occasion of the annual meeting of the employees union.
