INDOOR BOWLS
MASTERTON CLUB ELIMINATION - GAMES The Masterton Indoor Bowling Club continued the elimination games for the singles championships last week. The finalists were: —W. Hendry and S. Vincent and the final will be played at 7.15 p.m. next Thursday, at the conclusion of which a social will be held. The following are the results of last week’s games:—Leigh 25, beat Walker 15; Horton 22, beat Davies 17; Vincent 20, beat Smith 15; Carpenter 19, beat Milne 14; Edwards 20, beat Dixon 16; Hendry 27, beat Joyce 17; Vincent 20, beat Horton 15; Leigh 17, beat Fenton 15; Vincent 19, beat Leigh 14; Edwards 19, beat Carpenter 14; Hendry 26, beat Edwards 16. Every member should be present at the social, and is entitled to bring a friend. The trophies won during the season will also be presented.
