A Napier visitor to Pahiatua is Mrs D. G. Corbett. Mrs W. Barrett, of Pahiatua, is on a visit to Wellington. Mrs L. Taylor, of Palmerston North, is the guest of Mrs W. Rowse, Pahiatua. Mrs J. A. Kerslake, of Casel Street, Masterton, has returned from a visit to Wellington. Miss C. J. Neilson, of Wanganui, is the guest of Mrs H. Beresford Smith, Pahiatua. Mrs Petersen, of Stanley Street, Eketahuna, last week celebrated her 84th birthday. Nurse Nancy Carrick, of Masterton, has been appointed District Nurse for the Eketahuna district. Miss Francis Beauchamp, Wellington, and Miss Margaret Baxter, Heretaunga, are the guests of Miss Anne Liverton, “Rewanui,” Masterton. Miss Rita Robertson, daughter of Constable and Mrs Robertson, of Carterton, has returned to Wellington after a visit to her parents. Miss N. Flynn, of the Carterton High School staff, has returned from the South Island, where she visited her parents during the term holidays. Miss Mavis Taylor, of Essex Street, Masterton, left today for the Te Puia Hospital, north of Gisborne, to assist, oh behalf of the Department of Health, as a Karitane nurse, in the care of the Maori triplets, born recently to Mr and Mrs Mohi Gerrard, settlers of the district. MARTINBOROUGH (“Times-Age” Special.) Miss Jean Feast returned to Hawera today after spending the term holidays with her parents. 'Miss Roach returned to Palmerston North during the week-end, after staying with Mrs J. Roach, Hinakura Road.
