A resident of Geelong, Victoria, has become the heir to an English barony and £5OOO a year. Until the details are completed he refuses to have his name disclosed. The heir left England for Australia 45 years ago. He was the youngest of a family of eight sons. No communication was received from his family for 25 years, but it is now learned that his six brothers have died, each without an heir. The eldest brother, the baron, died recently. The present heir married at an early age and has a son and daughter. The son has since died and the daughter is employed at a Geelong factory.
