LAUNCHING ARRANGEMENTS ALMOST COMPLETED HER MAJESTY TO CHRISTEN » GIANT LINER (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, September 1. Arrangements are now practically complete for the launching on the Clyde on September 27 by the Queen of the sister-ship to the Queen Mary, which Her Majesty will christen Queen Elizabeth. The plans for the launching of this immense vessel have necessitated most careful planning, but complete confidence is expressed in the arrangements made, for which important data have been made available as a result of the* study of a film of the launching of her sister-ship and of experiments conducted in a tank with a model weighing about a ton.
