SALVATION ARMY

SPECIAL ANNIVERSARY SERVICES. The Salvation Army 54th Anniversary services will be conducted tomorrow by Major Armstrong and Commandant Clark. A splendid series of services has been arranged. Tomorrow morning at 7 o’clock a sunrise prayer meeting will be held in the Park. At 3 p.m., Commandant Clark will give his thrilling life story. The feature of the special service at 7 p.m. will be a Maori church parade. Major Armstrong, who has carried on Gospel work amongst the Maoris, will address the gathering. Tonight, at 8 o’clock, the Palmerston North Glee Party will give one of its notable programmes. On Monday night the Hamua Maori Glee Party will give a programme and a Cornish pasty supper will be served.
